Let's Begin...A New Year

Ok so I'm a little late....Happy New Year and Happy Valentines Day (or Happy Single's Awareness Day; however you want to say it)! I know I haven't been writing lately because I've been so wound up in other things that I've completely forgot.

However, a lot has happened over the past six months. The kids from LBCC raised over $100 to make 100 parachutes for Colombia (Hostile). LBCC held a prayer service on the National Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church on November 13th, along with making more of the 100 parachutes for Colombia. During the month of December, LBCC had a goal of $1,100 towards care packages for Northern Africa (most of the countries being Restricted), and they raised over $1,300!

There is still a lot going on in the Persecuted Church. The question being, what will you do for the Persecuted Church? and who will you pray for?

There are 54 countries in the world that have persecution in the church, 40 of those are Restricted (meaning the government is against Christianity), and 14 being Hostile (meaning friends, family, and neighbors are against it).

Voice of the Martyrs (VOM) sent out a poll of where there distribution was being sent to. 8% is being sent to Hindu, Buddhist, and others. 20% is being sent to the Communist World. 72% is being sent to the Muslim World.

So once again I ask, what are you doing to help the Persecuted Church? and who are you praying for?
